All NSA students, whose specialty is Track-and-field athletics, are obliged to attend sport improvement classes during the school year.
The sport improvement classes in the “Track-and-field athletics” department are conducted in the following directions:
- à) Improvement of the high sport mastership in the track-and-field athletics club KLASA. Responsible person - Ass.prof. Dr. B.Shishkov and the respective teacher-coaches from the department;
- á) Improvement of the track-and-field athletics referees at the Sport referees committee of club KLASA. Responsible person – Ass.prof. Dr. A.Slavchev;
- â) Improvement of the pedagogic work with the growing-up track-and-field athletics athletes at the Children and youth track-and-field athletics school of NSA
All students with specialty Track-and-field athletics from the Teacher’s and Coaches faculties have to declare at the beginning of the school year the form of the sport improvement they will conduct.
The formed sport improvement groups are the bases of the training and methodical track-and-field athletics practices, provided in the curriculum. The teaching and training processes in them are performed according to the requirements of the syllabus, accepted by the “Track-and-field athletics” department.
The management, control and countersigning of these obligations of the students is performed by the “Track-and-field athletics” department, which also determines the teachers who will lead the sport improvement.
