Project “Qualification of higher schools educators’ improvement”

The project aims at improving the quality of the educational service by building up a system for qualification and career development of lecturers in higher schools.

As a result a minimum of 1000 educators will increase their competence in three key spheres:

1. Foreign language competence – English, German and French language

Objective: to improve the language competence in the three languages in order to develop the studying programs and scientific research.

Target group: lecturers with language competence at intermediate and advanced level. Language teachers cannot participate.

Number of participants: 600 educators

Course types:

• - Specialized – mastering professional terminology
• - Intensive – mastering general language competence

2. Information and communication technologies

Objective: to gain experience on planning and preparing curriculum in electronic version and e-learning process;

Target group: educators working on e-learning modules;

Number of participants: 200 educators

3. Creating high-quality curriculum and academic content at European standards

Objective: to create up-to-date, competitive programs and plans meeting the European standards;

Target group: educators working on the quality of the educational programs

Number of participants: 200 educators.

• - Methodology of the academic teaching process and scientific research
• - Creating set of tools in order to increase the quality of education
